We have a confession to make: we love what we do for a living and wouldn’t want to do anything else. Most designers I know feel the same way.
Unfortunately, our obvious passion for our work is sometimes interpreted as a selfish desire to be creative for its own sake and that our agenda is not inline with the needs of our clientele.
While we can’t speak for all designers, we can say that our prime objective is to create effective solutions for our clients. We value results above creative awards and accolades from our peers. (Although, they are a great way to benchmark ourselves within the industry.)
In short, we push for what is best for our clients’ brands because this, in the long run, is best for ours.
